Multi-touch will be more than a table or desk, with the help of companies like Perceptive Pixel and Microsoft working to narrow the computer/human gap.
Over the last few months I have been researching multi-touch technology. And during this time my topic has evolved into a focused, but also broader topic. During my research I found information that changed my view of multi-touch technology. I have gotten a glimpse of what role multi-touch will be playing in the future. However, the last few months have been the most exciting, but the earlier months I found to be more valuable. My topic has changed from a cool idea on a piece of paper into a goal to attempt to see what the future holds for multi-touch technologies. I believe that multi-touch will play a major role in the way we interact with computers. What role; however, is something only a developer for multi-touch technology could know. My interview has not been completed because of an unhelpful Microsoft employee; if my interview questions are answered, I will have completed my initial goal for my research.
